TAZUMA® Battery Warranty – Policy, Eligibility & Claim Requirements
This document provides the official TAZUMA® General Product Limited Warranty (North America), including coverage periods, approval criteria, and the documentation required for a warranty claim. The Tazuma warranty reflects the product’s value-focused positioning: solid AGM performance at a lower price point, with coverage periods that balance customer protection with fair use.

What Will Be Approved by Tazuma
- Battery has reached normal end-of-life (capacity loss from normal use).
- Damage from sulfation due to undercharging, long-term discharge, or storage without charging.
- Overcharging or alternator output out of specification.
- Wrong application (e.g., starter battery used in deep-cycle duty).
- Physical damage, tampering, missing/altered date codes.
- Failures caused by system-level faults (e.g., faulty charging system, parasitic drain).
- Purchases from unauthorized resellers, auction sites, or liquidators.
Required for Warranty Evaluation
To have your claim considered, the following must be provided:
- Physical battery returned to West Coast Batteries or an authorized reseller for testing.
- Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) or verification via battery date code.
- Battery will be tested using an industry-standard conductance/resistance tester (Midtronics or DHC) under the AGM test setting.
- West Coast Batteries will complete the warranty paperwork, attach test results, and provide outcome.
- Batteries confirmed defective under warranty will be replaced free of charge within the coverage period.
Policy Notes
- Warranty coverage applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.
- Free replacement only (no pro-rata credit or partial refunds).
- Customer is responsible for removal/installation costs, shipping, and any incidental expenses.
