Policy Scope

 

This Shipping Policy applies only to retail orders purchased directly through WCBatteries.com.
Shipping terms for business-to-business (B2B) orders placed outside of WCBatteries.com are defined separately and are governed by mutually agreed-upon shipping processes established at the time of the customer’s business relationship agreement with West Coast Batteries.

Order Processing Time

 

Orders received before 2:30 PM Pacific Time (PT), Monday through Friday, are processed within 1 business day.
Orders received after 2:30 PM PT, or on Saturday or Sunday, are processed on the next business day.
Example:
 An order placed at 5:00 PM PT on Friday will be processed and shipped on the following Monday.

Shipping Methods & Carriers

 

Shipping method is determined by the total shipment weight, product form factor, and delivery requirements.

  • Orders under 150 lbs:

    • Shipped via UPS Ground or FedEx Ground
  • Orders equal to or greater than 150 lbs:

    • Shipped via LTL freight carriers
  • SKU-Specific Freight Requirements: 

    • Certain products, due to their size, weight, or form factor, may require freight shipment regardless of total order weight. These items are shipped via LTL freight to reduce handling risk and ensure the best chance of arriving in safe, functional condition.
  • When freight shipment is required, West Coast Batteries selects the carrier and delivery method best suited to protect the product. Customers may be contacted to confirm receiving capabilities (commercial vs. residential delivery, liftgate service, appointment requirements, etc.).

Shipping Rates & Estimated Transit Times

 

Shipping rates are based on total order weight and apply to deliveries within the contiguous United States.

Economy Shipping (UPS / FedEx Ground):

  • 0–49 lbs: Free shipping · 5–8 business days
  • 50–100 lbs: $35.00 · 5–8 business days
  • 101–155 lbs: $70.00 · 5–8 business days
  • 156 lbs and up: $100.00 · 5–8 business days
  • LTL Freight Shipping:
    • Orders shipped via freight typically arrive within 3–10 business days after shipment, depending on destination and delivery access requirements.

Transit times begin after the order ships, not at checkout. Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed.

Geographic Coverage

 

We currently ship within:
The contiguous United States (48 states)
We do not ship directly to:

  • Alaska
  • Hawaii
  • U.S. territories
  • International destinations

Customer-Arranged Export Option: 


While we do not ship outside of the contiguous United States, we can work with customers to ship orders to a U.S.-based pickup location or freight forwarder designated by the customer, where the shipment may then be exported to its final destination.

West Coast Batteries is not responsible for export documentation, customs clearance, international shipping, or delivery beyond the U.S. pickup point.
